Information Sheets

Welcome to the Festivals and Events Toolkit Information Sheets. This section contains a series of Information Sheets designed to help the organiser in all aspects of running an event.

As well as providing clear guidance on how to go about the various stages in the process, they also contain links to other useful organisations and websites which can provide you with further detail on aspects of particular interest, or else give you the latest updates in legislation concerning particular areas.

Some of the Information Sheets have links to sample documents to give you a better idea of the sort of information to include, or how to lay it out. There are also some templates which you can use to adapt to your own event by overwriting the document with your own information.

The Information Sheets are written with a view to being accessible to everyone, whether this is the first event you have ever staged, or you are a seasoned event organiser.

The information is up to date at the time of writing, but legislation is subject to change and we strongly advise organisers to check the relevant websites (links given in the sheets) for the latest information.
