Preparing for the Unexpected
In the wake of the recent floods, a new topic in the Business Support and Advice section of the Toolkit looks at how best to prepare for natural disasters.
The shocking damage, misery and loss of business for those affected by the floods, and the subsequent incredible recovery stories as some businesses swung back into action, should be an inspiration and incentive for us all. Make sure that you’ve done all you can to assess the risks to your business and plan for crisis and recovery.
As well as ensuring that your livelihood survives the unexpected, the topic also covers the most important of issues – preparing and practising to ensure that the safety of your customers and staff is paramount in the event of disaster.
