This allowance - which allows the business to claim 100% of the costs as allowable expenditure for tax purposes - is available to any business of any size and in any sector that purchases machinery, plant or equipment that directly supports and encourages sustainable water use.
The purchases must be eligible, example are:
water meters
flow controllers
leakage detection equipment
low flush toilets
efficient taps
rainwater harvesting systems.
