RDPE is a nation-wide, seven year (2007 - 13) programme for delivering funding allocated to England by Europe and DEFRA (the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs). To be eligible you must be able to show your project meets the aims and themes of the fund and that you are well organised and capable of delivering the project. Up to 50% of a project's cost can be met (to a total of £10,000) or up to 70% off a community project. You must be able to demonstrate you can find the rest of the funding required and that the project could not go ahead without the RDPE grant.
