NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau has been named a finalist in the 2010 Meetings and Incentive Travel (M&IT) Industry Awards in the category 'Best UK Convention Bureau'.
These Awards are the oldest established awards programme in the meetings industry and recognise and reward excellence across all areas.
2010 winners will be revealed on the eve of International Confex 2010 at a gala presentation dinner on Monday 22nd February at the Novotel London West hotel.
Jessica Roberts, head of business tourism at NewcastleGateshead Convention Bureau said: "This is great news both as a confidence builder for our dedicated, hard working team, but also because it shows how supportive our clients, venues and members have been in voting for us and we're extremely grateful for their backing".
