Enjoy England Awards for Excellence are run by VisitEngland. Promoting the best places to visit and stay in England from large hotels to small B&Bs, attractions large and small, all the winners showcase the very highest standards of customer service and product. They really have gone the extra mile to provide a memorable experience.

National Awards: Winners 2009

The following businesses from our region are national winners in the Enjoy England Awards for Excellence 2009:

GOLD: the Old School - Tourism Website of the Year
SILVER: The Stables Lodge, Tyne and Wear - Bed and Breakfast/Guest Accommodation of the Year
SILVER: Seafield Caravan Park, Seahouses, Northumberland -Caravan Holiday Park of the Year:
SILVER: Café 21, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne - Taste of North East England
SILVER: the Hytte, Hexham - Sustainable Tourism Award

The winners were awarded at a ceremony on the 23^rd April 2009 at the National Railway Museum at York.
