Hospitality Assured is a quality standard created by the Institute of Hospitality specifically for businesses operating in the hospitality, tourism and leisure sectors. The accreditation scheme aims to help businesses in this sector look at every aspect of their operation and delivery and encourages owner-operators, managers and their teams to focus on how best to meet customers’ expectations and develop a positive reputation that generates repeat and new business.
While it isn’t a replacement for an AA or VisitBritain quality assessment, it is potentially a very valuable additional endorsement that helps businesses review, develop and improve their focus and develop more custom.
The Hospitality Assured standard provides an organisation with a framework for measuring customer satisfaction and improving business performance and competitiveness. It acts as a motivator to employees by involving and engaging them in the enhancement of the customer experience and provides a business with the opportunity to benchmark against other organisations, to see where relevant improvements can be made.
