With high profile events like BRASS: Durham International Festival generating headlines across the County this summer, it's now time to look ahead to events for 2009.
Are you involved with organising an event in the County for 2009? If so, please send us details, even if provisional, so that they can be included on the regional tourism database and start generating valuable publicity on visitor facing web sites and in related publications.
Details should be sent by the end of next week to Margaret Statham at CDTP, on 0191 383 7422, e-mail margaret.statham@cdtp.co.uk.
The Area Tourism Management Plan (ATMaP) is a plan that turns the regional tourism strategy and County Durham tourism strategy, as well as relevant parts of the regional and sub-regional economic development strategies, into action. It is a plan that all organisations and businesses in the county can use to guide their thinking, proposals and activities. It also coordinates delivery.
