eviivo wins Travolution Award

eviivo won the award for the 'Best Use of Technology' at the Travolution Awards ceremony that took place in London on the 24th of April .

eviivo is an online leisure company focused on e-commerce, enabling small-scale accommodation businesses that typically have less than 30 rooms with a unique product eviivo frontdesk® to reach a huge market of potential customers. The annual value of room inventory available on eviivo frontdesk® is already £250m and set to double by the end of 2008.

The judges on the panel praised eviivo describing eviivo frontdesk® as: "An excellent piece of technology which values and helps the smaller players in the industry to work with the major brands." Travolution went on to add that eviivo frontdesk® was "changing the distribution landscape for small brands."

Accommodation businesses with eviivo frontdesk® can be booked through their own website and more than 50 online distribution channels, including lastminute.com and Expedia. eviivo frontdesk® is a fully integrated property management system and those businesses using it don't need to allocate rooms as each distribution channel accesses a real-time view of all their available inventory.
